It is rumored this fall that Apple will will introduce the much rumored iPad HD with software that will cater to high end apps. Samsung or LG will be producing the highend screen for the third generation iPad. The high-resolution screen is sure to increase the starting price of $500.
Citing multiple anonymous sources, Joshua Topolsky over at This is my next says Apple's cooking up "a new entry into the iPad family" that will sport a 2,048x1,536 resolution screen and be called the "iPad HD." Topolsky says this device will sit alongside the existing iPad 2 model, which presumably will continue to be sold by Apple, with the HD model being akin to a high-end Apple MacBook.
High definition films with 1080p are planned to make a debut this fall as Apple is dishing out more convincing clues that HD displays could be integrated in future devices. According to AppleInsider, major film companies have been submitting 1080p movie versions into the iTune store. The rumors could run very well in line with the upcoming new version of AppleTV and iOS 5 which supports HD viewing.
A Bid Auction is where a seller sets an opening price for a product and potential buyers opt to win the product by offering a higher price (bid). This bidding process moves the price up and at the conclusion, the highest bidder wins the item.
A BIN auction is where a seller sets a fixed price for the product and a buyer can choose to pay this price and immediately win the item.
